Additional Information

The church is located at 1201 Elm St (Hwy 4) just north of the Greene County Middle School, on the east side of the road.

Day camp leadership will be provided by counselors from Riverside Bible Camp in Story City, with the assistance of volunteer helpers of all ages from the local community. Jan Rosdail is the local administrator of the day camp at Christ Lutheran Church. If you have any questions, please contact Jan at 515-386-3254 or janrosdail@gmail.com.

There are two age groups for campers:

• Preschool/Kindergarten, ages 4-5, meeting from 10 am – 12:30 pm

• School Age, entering grades 1-6, meeting from 10 am – 2:45

Children in both age groups are asked to bring a sack lunch each day.

Both age groups will meet at Christ Lutheran Church north of Greene County High School in Jefferson on S. Hwy. 4.

Students entering grades 7 and up are welcome to serve as volunteer helpers.We welcome the area churches to participate in the day camp with us by forming a working partnership, promoting the day camp within their own church community, assisting as volunteers on one or more days of the camp, etc. We especially invite area congregations to join us as partners in the event they are wanting to participate in a summer day camp setting but may not have enough resources of their own.
